Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals in care homes and home care settings. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Support clients with mobility and daily routines in accordance with care plans Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' wellbeing Help with meal preparation and feeding where necessary Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients' conditions Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure personalised care delivery Support clients with medication reminders as directed by healthcare professionals Use IT systems to update care documentation accurately and promptly

Qualifications

Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Valid driving licence is essential, and the use of your own car Good command of English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with clients and team members Strong IT skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation Excellent communication skills, empathetic nature, and the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others' independence and quality of life

Pay: 13.00-18.00 per hour
