Experience in supporting clients with Mental Health or Additional Needs is beneficial, but not required. We offer comprehensive, fully paid training to ensure you have the skills and confidence to succeed.

The role:



You'll support and assist our clients, to fulfil their daily and long-term goals, creating positive outcomes in their lives. Working in a passionate way to provide excellent person-centred care to our clients, you'll ensure all our clients are happy and cared for in the best way possible.

What you'll be doing:



Administer medication to clients, with due diligence and care. Provide dignified personal care to our clients when necessary. Proactively make a difference with our clients and supporting with decision making and lifestyle choices to continually provide person- centred care, including seeking to provide a range of activities for clients, by keeping abreast of local media and event sites. Implement behaviour management strategies where necessary and seeking areas for improvement. Demonstrating strong clear communication skills, communicating with colleagues and clients in a calm and confident, caring manner. Keeping clients records up to date and ensuring notes are made in a clear and concise manner, whilst maintaining confidentiality. Keep up to date with mandatory and ad hoc training courses when required. Attend regular supervision with your senior team to ensure high standard and values are always maintained. Uphold your rota and communicating any changes to the senior team. Support our clients to maintain a habitual home environment.
As a precondition of this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom. We are unable to offer sponsorship of any kind.

What you'll bring:



A naturally caring disposition and be passionate about the care you deliver. Strong command of written and verbal English. Full clean UK Driving Licence and access to a car would be preferred. Ideally a valid Care certification or Oliver McGowan Training. Enhanced adult workforce DBS on the update service. Experience of working within a supported living or community setting would be advantageous.

Due to the location of our home and our shift patterns, you should be able to reasonably commute to Easton, Fishponds and Whitehall area.

Pay: From 12.25 per hour
