As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in home care settings. Your primary focus will be to assist clients with their daily activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other care professionals. Arrow Care Services pay travel time and travel mileage between home visits.
Responsibilities
Provide personal care and support to clients in accordance with their individual care plans.
Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.
Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in their condition.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and review care plans.
Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Engage clients in social activities and promote their emotional well-being.
Skills
Proficient in English, both spoken and written, for effective communication with clients and team members.
Experience in home care or care home setting is advantageous.
Ability to understand and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
Knowledge in IT skills for maintaining records and using care management software.
Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
