Job Summary



As a Care Assistant with L A Care, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily lives, promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference while working within a supportive, family-feel team.

Key Responsibilities



Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing Support individuals with mobility and daily living activities, encouraging independence wherever possible Follow personalised care plans tailored to each individual's needs Provide companionship and emotional support, helping to create a positive and reassuring environment Maintain accurate digital care records and report any concerns to senior staff Assist with light domestic tasks, including meal preparation and light cleaning Ensure the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of clients at all times, following health and safety guidelines Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care

Shifts Available



2-3 shifts Monday to Friday

Start times: 08:00 or 09:00 / 09:15 Finish time: 17:00

Saturday & Sunday (every other weekend)

08:00 - 17:00 Flexibility with weekday start times may be available

Typical full-time hours are approximately 40-45 hours per week, including every other weekend.

This equates to an estimated annual salary of around 30,000 per year, plus mileage payments.

Experience & Requirements



Previous experience in care or home care is desirable but

not essential

- full training provided A caring, respectful, and patient approach to supporting others Good communication skills in English Basic IT skills for digital care records A valid driving licence is desirable for community-based roles Reliable, organised, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
