Care Assistant / Activity Therapist

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced care assistant/activity therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with older adults and be able to create a stimulating and engaging environment for our residents.

Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance to residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Help clients with mobility and transfers
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying up
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Document client care activities and report any changes in condition to the supervisor
- Develop and implement a variety of activities and programs that meet the needs and interests of our residents
- Provide individual and group activities that promote physical, cognitive, and social well-being
- Coordinate with volunteers and other staff members to ensure that all activities are well-run and safe.

The ideal candidate will have strong organisational and time management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Day shift Monday to Friday Weekend availability
