To provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals in their own homes, enabling them to live as independently, safely, and comfortably as possible in accordance with their individual care plans.
Key Responsibilities
Personal Care
Assist service users with personal hygiene tasks including washing, bathing, showering, dressing, grooming, shaving, and toileting.
Support mobility and safe transfers, using appropriate equipment such as hoists where required.
Promote dignity, privacy, and independence at all times.
Healthcare Support
Monitor and support service users' health and wellbeing, including diet and fluid intake.
Administer, prompt, or assist with prescribed medication in line with care plans and company policies.
Provide continence care and report any changes in health or condition promptly.
Domestic and Household Support
Assist with light household duties including cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, laundry, ironing, and changing bed linen.
Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
Meal Preparation and Nutrition
Prepare meals and snacks according to dietary requirements and personal preferences.
Assist with feeding where necessary and encourage healthy eating.
Companionship and Social Support
Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce loneliness and isolation.
Encourage and support service users to access the community, attend appointments, social activities, or run errands.
Errands and Practical Support
Carry out errands such as grocery shopping, collecting prescriptions, or assisting with bill payments and form completion, where appropriate.
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain accurate, clear, and timely records of care provided.
Report any concerns, incidents, or significant changes in a service user's condition to a supervisor or manager.

Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential for travelling between service users' homes).
Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Willingness to undertake mandatory training, including the Care Certificate and/or NVQ qualifications in Health and Social Care.

Pay: 13.85-14.50 per hour
