Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care and support to individuals in a home care or care home setting. This role requires effective communication skills, a strong understanding of care plans, and the ability to drive to various locations as needed. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management. Implement and follow care plans tailored to each client's needs. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in their condition. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care. Drive to clients' homes or care facilities as required, ensuring timely arrival for scheduled visits. Adhere to health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients.

Requirements

Previous experience in home care or a similar role is preferred but not essential. Strong IT skills for maintaining records and communicating with team members. Excellent command of English with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. A valid driving licence is desirable for transportation purposes. A caring and empathetic nature with a passion for helping others. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
