Job Description

We are looking for a female care assistant in the BALLYMONEY/COLERAINE AREA with access to a car to work part-time. These shifts will be Mon-Sun, 4pm to 10pm.



Experience: Previous care experience is helpful but not essential as full training is provided.

Communication Skills: Strong spoken and written English to follow care plans and communicate effectively.

Drivers License: A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle is

essential.



Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including alternate weekends.

Access NI enhanced disclosure check will be performed for the post- We adhere to the Access NI code of practice.

A criminal record will not necessarily bar you from obtaining this position

Your key responsibilities will be:

Personal Care



Support with daily living activities: bathing, dressing, grooming and toilet Assist with mobility and safe transfers in and out of beds etc Use of mobility aids when required

Health & Medication Support



Assist with medication: administration or reminders as prescribed Support with feeding, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration

Emotional & Social Support



Offer companionship Encourage social interaction and help clients stay connected with loved ones Provide reassurance and emotional wellbeing

Domestic Assistance



Help with light household tasks including; cleaning, laundry and meal prep Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment

Communication & Documentation



Record and report changes in health, mood, or behaviour Communicate clearly with family members, healthcare professionals, and other team members

Personal Advocacy



Empower individuals to make choices and decisions about their care Ensure clients rights and dignity are upheld at all times
