We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering personal care, companionship, and emotional support in a respectful and dignified manner.

Duties

Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Help with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort. Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements and preferences. Provide companionship and engage clients in conversation and activities to promote mental well-being. Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including tidying living spaces and assisting with light housekeeping tasks. Document care provided and maintain accurate records as required by company policies.

Requirements

Previous experience in a care role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. A genuine passion for helping others and a commitment to delivering high-quality care. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively. A compassionate nature with patience and empathy towards individuals in need of support. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
