Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals in care homes and home care settings. The successful candidate will assist with daily activities, promote independence, and ensure the well-being of those in their care. Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Support individuals with mobility and daily activities, promoting independence where possible Follow personalised care plans to meet each individual's specific needs Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a warm and trusting environment Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in the client's condition Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care Assist with medication management as directed by healthcare professionals Support clients with meal preparation and feeding if required Ensure a safe and clean environment in accordance with health and safety regulations

Qualifications

Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate client transportation when necessary Good organisational skills to follow care plans accurately Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written Basic IT skills for maintaining records and documentation Compassionate attitude with excellent interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver exceptional care
