Job Description

At Garforth care homes we are looking for a care assistant/ Senior Care Assistant to work on an as and when required basis, alongside our established teams (we do not use agency staff).

The Hollies is a residential care home where residents have dementia care needs. St Armand's Court is the sister home which is next door, and caters for general residential care.

Care assistants will be required to deliver personal and psychological care to ensure our residents care needs are being met. No experience is necessary as full training will be provided.

The salary ranges from 12.21 - 13.46 per hour dependent on qualifications/ medication trained. Free training will be provided and staff will have the option to complete an apprenticeship to further their qualifications, following a successful probationary period.

Shift times are 7am-12pm, 7am-14.30, 14.30-22.00. Management will take your availability to cover against the homes sickness and annual leave vacancy requirements.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE RECRUITING FOR ROLES OF UNDER 37.5 HOURS PER WEEK, WE WILL NOT BE RECRUITING FOR STAFF REQUIRING SPONSORSHIP, AS WE CANNOT OFFER ENOUGH HOURS AT THIS TIME IN ORDER TO MEET THE SALARY THRESHOLD.
