We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. Duties

Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support individuals in daily living activities, including meal preparation and feeding. Implement and monitor care plans tailored to each resident's needs. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to the nursing staff. Engage residents in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being. Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to foster a supportive atmosphere. Drive residents to appointments or social outings as required.

Experience

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential. A valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting residents. Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with residents and colleagues. Basic IT skills are beneficial for maintaining records and using care management software. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with residents and their families are essential.
