Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our Bank team. This role is essential in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in our Care Home. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for helping others, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible care tailored to their individual needs.

Duties

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation. Support clients in maintaining their independence while ensuring their safety and well-being. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide updates on care plans and any changes in client conditions. Document and maintain accurate records of client progress and care provided. Follow care plans as directed, adapting to the changing needs of clients as necessary. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in home care practices.

Skills

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to converse in English clearly and compassionately. Proficiency in IT skills for documentation purposes and communication with team members. Previous experience in home care or a similar environment is essential; a willingness to learn is key. Understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately. Empathy, patience, and a strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others are crucial attributes for this role.
