We're currently looking to recruit several bank health care assistants living in the Brighton & Hove area to cover various shifts due to holidays and sickness. Ideally, you'll have relevant experience and qualifications, however, we offer full training to those wishing to enter the care industry who have a caring nature and demonstrate our core values of kindness and empathy.
This role would suit someone that is looking for flexible, part-time work - perhaps as a second job.
Key Accountabilities:
To deliver all tasks stated on the care plans to an excellent standard and in accordance with all The Private Care Company's policies and procedures, best practice, agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations
To carry out and assist clients of The Private Care Company with a variety of personal and practical care tasks which may include helping to wash, getting dressed, light housework, laundry, shopping etc.
To support client's food and fluid intake as directed by the care plan, and to ensure documentation of all intake as per training
To maintain care skills at the required level and undertake such training and development as may from time to time be required
To communicate with and report any incidents to the Care Manager as necessary to ensure high standards of care are delivered
To liaise with other professionals such as district nurses, doctors, pharmacists, occupational therapists etc, to ensure that clients receive a high standard of care
To manage own workload of allocated client visits and to be responsible for documenting each client visit on the online care planning app
Skills / Experience / Knowledge:
The Care Certificate (full training provided)
Multi-skilled care delivery capability
Good written and oral communication skills
Full, clean UK driving licence and own car (essential)
