Days (35 hours per week) and Nights (30 hours per week) Available.


At Ridgemount Banstead are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Care Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care to residents living with dementia. This role is vital in promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life for our residents through person-centred care and meaningful engagement.


Key Responsibilities:


Provide personal care including washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support Assist residents with meals and hydration, ensuring dietary needs are met Support residents with daily activities and social interaction to enhance wellbeing Monitor and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition Maintain accurate records of care delivered and observations Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals Uphold safeguarding, confidentiality, and health & safety standards Create a safe, clean, and homely environment for residents

What We're Looking For:


Experience in elderly care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility Willingness to learn and undertake training (e.g., dementia care, manual handling)
