About The Role
About the Role
This role is on a casual basis with shifts available in Cregagh Nursing Home (Belfast) and Carryduff Nursing Home. Shifts will mainly be from 7:45am - 8pm but some half shifts may be required.
Cregagh Nursing Home caters for up to 40 people requiring frail elderly and interim care and Carryduff Nursing Home caters for up to 21 residents requiring frail elderly care.
As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and dignity of our residents. Working alongside a dedicated multi-disciplinary team, you will provide compassionate, person-centred care, assisting with personal care, meal times, daily routines and meaningful activities. Your support will help create a safe, comfortable, and enriching environment where residents can thrive.

While we particularly welcome candidates with the following qualities, they are not essential:
Previous paid or unpaid experience in providing care in all aspects of daily living.
A qualification equivalent to an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.

This role involves substantial access to vulnerable adults. The successful candidate will be offered the position subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure Check through Access NI. Regulated posts will also require a check of the adult barred list.
