Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to residents in a care home setting. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of care plans, and the ability to work effectively with both residents and their families.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation. Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to the appropriate personnel. Engage with residents in meaningful activities to promote their physical and emotional well-being. Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and families to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Basic IT skills for documentation and record-keeping. A genuine passion for providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to work independently when required.
