Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in a their own home, assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. Your ability to communicate effectively and follow care plans will be vital in delivering high-quality care to our residents.

Duties

Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support individuals with mobility and physical activities, ensuring their safety at all times. Help with meal preparation and feeding, catering to specific dietary needs as outlined in care plans. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to the nursing staff. Engage residents in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship. Drive residents to appointments or activities when necessary, ensuring safe transportation. Collaborate with other team members to create and implement effective care plans tailored to each individual's needs. Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness within the care environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a domiciliary care is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with clients and colleagues. Basic maths and IT skills are advantageous for maintaining records and accessing care plans. A full valid driving licence and own car is essential for travelling between your care calls. A DBS check is required
