Tuesday / Wednesday days

(Must be flexible to pick up nights to support annual leave or sickness)

Hours - 09:00 - 17:00 - Days / Nights 20:00 - 08:00

This is a rewarding and person-centred role supporting a young girl in the Hodge Hill area of Birmingham.

About the Role

Mum is looking for someone with previous experience in suctioning and PEG care, but just as importantly, someone with a bubbly personality who will gently encourage her daughter to take part in activities. A kind, patient, and nurturing approach is essential.

About the Client

'I enjoy watching TV, listening to music, reading books, and using my iPad. I also love spending time outside the house and really enjoy good company. I can become distressed if I'm left alone or if I don't have engaging activities to do.

I have sensory processing difficulties and can be particularly sensitive to noise and busy or loud environments. I may need reassurance when I hear sudden or loud sounds, as they can make me feel scared or overwhelmed.'


This role is ideal for someone compassionate, respectful, and confident in delivering complex care in a home environment.

Qualifications

Peg Feeding Oral Suctioning Medication Administration Mobility Moving and Handling Equipment.
