Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in our care home, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role requires effective communication skills, and the ability to follow care plans meticulously.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for individuals in your care. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the health or behaviour of residents. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement and follow care plans tailored to each individual's needs. Ensure a clean and safe environment for residents by adhering to health and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members in English to ensure clarity of information and instructions.

Requirements

NVQ trained and Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Basic IT skills for maintaining records and communicating through digital platforms. Understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately is essential. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others lead fulfilling lives. DBS on update service advantageous
