About the Role:



We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated

Care Assistants

to join our friendly team, working flexibly across two warm and welcoming dementia residential care homes located in Blackpool. Our homes provide high-quality person-centred care to residents living with dementia in a safe, supportive, and enriching environment.

This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals passionate about delivering outstanding care, building meaningful relationships with residents, and making a positive impact every day.

Key Responsibilities:



Deliver personal care including washing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and continence care with dignity and respect Assist residents with mobility and repositioning using appropriate equipment and techniques Support residents with eating and drinking, ensuring individual dietary needs are met Promote independence, choice, and wellbeing in all aspects of care Monitor and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to senior staff Assist in administering medication (if trained) or support medication prompts as required Engage residents in meaningful activities to promote cognitive stimulation and emotional wellbeing Maintain accurate and timely care records in line with regulatory and company standards Comply with all safeguarding policies and health and safety procedures Collaborate with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals to support holistic care delivery Assist with light domestic duties to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment Uphold residents' privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times

Requirements:Essential:



Kind, empathetic, and patient nature with a genuine passion for elderly care Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work flexibly across two homes and adapt to different routines Right to work in the UK

Desirable:



Previous experience in dementia care or residential care settings NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards) Medication administration training or willingness to be trained Basic knowledge of dementia and person-centred care principles First aid, safeguarding, and manual handling training (can be provided)

Work Environment:



You will be part of a close-knit care team across two homely and community-oriented dementia residential homes. Both homes are purposefully designed to offer comfort, safety, and familiarity for individuals living with dementia. Staff rotate between the two homes based on rota needs, ensuring continuity of care and strong team dynamics.
