Your Role as a Care Assistant
This is more than a job - it's an opportunity to make a real difference. Each day you will be supporting residents to live independently and with dignity. Your main duties will include:
Companionship and emotional support
Helping with personal care and hygiene
Supporting with mobility around the home
Assisting with medication
General housework, cleaning and tidying
Meal preparation and support with eating
Helping residents stay active and involved in community and home activities
Where You'll Be Working
Glenholme Bispham Gardens is located in a peaceful residential area in Blackpool. Our home provides care for mature and older people with varying needs, including dementia, nursing and end-of-life support. We are a 52-bed care home with an additional 24-room expansion opened in 2021. You'll be part of a compassionate, experienced team who always put residents first.
