Job Description
Park View Care Home with Nursing are seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join our team on permanent days.
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide essential support to residents at our Nursing Home in Blackpool. Your role will involve assisting with daily activities, providing personal care, and ensuring the comfort and well-being of residents.
Duties:
- Assist residents with personal care needs
- Help residents with mobility and transfers
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist in the implementation of care plans
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and healthcare team members
- Provide emotional support to residents and their families
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Document resident information accurately and in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Proficient in basic IT skills for documentation purposes
- Familiarity with care plans and ability to follow instructions accordingly
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential as training will be provided

Pay: 12.60 per hour
