Job Description
Job Specific Duties -Carer
Specific Duties Include:
Provide support and encouragement to serviceusers in all areas/activities of daily living.
Ensures the respect, dignity and rights toprivacy of service users as far as possible.
Contributes to the assessment of service User'sneeds and the development of individualised plans of care and support, inconsultation with service users, their relatives and the Care Team.
Acts as a key worker for an identified ServiceUser, or designated group.
Works with the care and support team to deliverhigh standards of service to achieve planned goals.
These duties are exhaustive. Job holders may be asked toundertake other responsibilities, within their spheres of responsibility andcompetence.
Knowledge, skills andExperience:
Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Care or equivalent carequalification or willing to work towards.
Experience in care /support or service relatedsetting preferred.
