Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our team in providing essential care and support to individuals in a care home setting. This role requires a caring nature and a genuine desire to help others. Duties - Assist residents with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and meals - Support the implementation of care plans under the guidance of senior staff - Maintain accurate records and documentation related to residents' care - Utilize IT systems for updating resident information and communicating with colleagues - Engage with residents in a friendly and supportive manner, promoting their well-being - Provide emotional support and companionship to residents - Assist with light housekeeping tasks within the care home environment Experience - Previous experience in home care or a similar role is advantageous - Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing - A caring and empathetic attitude towards residents - Willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of residents - Full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.60-12.80 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 36 per week
