Experience of working with dementia clients would be an advantage but not essential as fully paid training will be provided.

Fully paid 4-day mandatory induction training. Paid DBS if required. Employee Assistance Program. Blue light card. Regular shift pattern (8-2 or 2-8) requirement to work every other weekend. The role:



You'll help and assist our clients, to fulfil their daily and long-term goals, creating positive outcomes in their lives. Working in a passionate way to provide excellent person-centred care to our clients, you'll ensure all our clients are happy and cared for in the best way possible.

What you'll be doing:



Administer Medication to clients, with due diligence and care. Provide dignified personal care to our clients when necessary. Proactively make a difference with our clients and supporting with decision making and lifestyle choices to continually provide person- centred care, including seeking to provide a range of activities for clients, by keeping abreast of local media and event sites. Demonstrating strong clear communication skills, communicating with team members and clients in a calm and confident, caring manner. Keeping clients records up to date and ensuring notes are made in a clear and concise manner, whilst maintaining confidentiality. Uphold your rota commitments and communicate any changes to the senior team. Support our clients to maintain a habitual home environment.
As a precondition of this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom. Please note We are unable to offer sponsorship at this time.

What you'll bring:



A naturally caring disposition and be passionate about the care you deliver. Strong command of written and verbal English. Full clean UK Driving Licence and access to a car would be preferred. Valid Care certification and Oliver McGowan Training. Enhanced adult workforce DBS on the update service, if required, we however pay for DBS if you do not have one. Experience of working with dementia clients would be advantageous.

Due to the location of our home and our shift patterns, you should be able to reasonably commute to Yate.
