to join our friendly team and help empower adults with learning disabilities to live life to the fullest.


We have

flexible opportunities

available:

Part-time:

15, 22.5, or 30 hours per week

Full-time:

37.5 hours per week

Located in

Gawcott, near Buckingham

, Old Barn Close is a registered care home providing 24/7 support for four adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities, autism, and some physical disabilities.

What You'll Do

As a Care Assistant, you'll play a vital role in helping the people we support live with dignity and independence. Your day will be varied and rewarding, including:

Supporting with

mealtimes, personal care

, and daily routines Encouraging participation in

fun activities

like music and art therapy Assisting with

appointments, shopping, and domestic tasks

Organising outings and helping the people we support enjoy life in the community

Sleep-ins will be required as part of the role.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Caring, enthusiastic, and positive with a genuine desire to make a difference A great communicator who can adapt to individual needs Flexible and a team player, ready to work shifts including weekends and bank holidays Ideally experienced in care (but full training provided if not) A driving licence with access to a vehicle is required
