Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals in care homes and home care settings. The successful candidate will assist with daily activities, promote independence, and ensure the well-being of those in their care. Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Support individuals with mobility and daily activities to promote independence Follow personalised care plans to meet each client's specific needs Encourage social interaction and engagement to enhance mental well-being Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in condition Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals Support clients with medication management as directed by healthcare professionals

Skills

Experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written Basic IT skills for maintaining records and documentation Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and team members Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others Organised, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.60-12.70 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
