Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to clients within in their own homes, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role requires effective communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those in your care. A driving licence is preferred for this position to assist with transportation needs.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. Administering medication Support residents in following their individual care plans, ensuring all needs are met. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to provide updates on care and wellbeing. Maintain a clean and safe environment for all residents. Document any changes in residents' conditions or behaviours accurately and promptly. Paid induction Up to date training Drive residents to appointments or activities as required. 2 weekly pay Company pension

Requirements

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential. Ability to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing. Strong interpersonal skills with a caring attitude towards others. Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated. A valid driving license is preferred for transporting residents when necessary.
