Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to residents in a residential care home. Your primary focus will be on assisting residents with their daily activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while adhering to care plans.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support residents in daily living activities, including meal preparation and feeding. Help maintain a clean and safe environment for patients. Communicate effectively with residetns, families, and healthcare professionals regarding care needs and progress. Follow care plans as outlined by healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for residents. Document residents progress and any changes in condition accurately. Utilise IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes.

Requirements

Previous experience in a healthcare or home care setting is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow them accurately is an advantage. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others in need of support. Hold a Health and social care Level 2 qualification or willing to work towards
