? Personal Support / Care Worker for client in his own home - Cannock - 13.89 per hour ?

We're seeking two compassionate and dedicated Complex Care Assistants to support a client living with Muscular Dystrophy in the Cannock area on either a casual or permanent basis. This unique role involves assisting with complex care needs both at home and in the community, helping the client maintain independence and live life to the fullest. Shared interests in science fiction, computer games, and IT skills are desirable for building a genuine connection and companionship in this rewarding position.

You must be comfortable with pets as there is a lively dog at the clients home

-A permanent role of 39 hours per week (shift times to be confirmed)

?All training is provided and will consist of e-learning courses, face-to-face sessions, practical training, clinical training and competencies. The training is bespoke to the client and fully comprehensive for meeting their needs. We also provide refresher training on a regular basis, to keep your knowledge and skills current.

Who we are looking for:

You must be self motivated, well organised, reliable and an excellent team player. As well as being a naturally caring and compassionate person, we're seeking Care / Support workers with experience of:

Personal care, support to manage incontinence, and measures to maintain a good skin state. Supporting with clinical tasks such as cough assistant, Bipap, Nebuliser, and oral Suctioning (preferred but not essential Moving and Handling (including hoisting and position changes). Medication Administration Domestic duties (Laundry, cleaning, cooking nutritious meals). Monitoring of general health and well being, and daily record keeping. Proving support around meal times due to the clients dysphagia

You should also have:

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Flexibility to cover annual leave and sickness.
This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check. You must also have eligibility to work in the UK. We are unable to offer sponsorsh
