Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality support to one of our clients in their own home. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, implementing care plans, and fostering a supportive environment.

Duties

Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support the individual with mobility and physical activities, ensuring their safety at all times. Implement and monitor care plans tailored to the clients needs, documenting progress and changes as required. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Maintain a clean and safe environment within the home, adhering to health and safety regulations. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, promoting their mental well-being. Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance skills and knowledge in care practices. Drive our client to appointments or activities when necessary, ensuring their comfort during transport.

Experience

Previous experience in a home care setting is desirable but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn. Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with client and team members. Basic IT skills are beneficial for maintaining records and accessing care plans. A valid driving licence is needed.
