Key Responsibilities:

Assist residents/clients with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting. Support safe mobility and transfers, ensuring comfort and safety. Implement and adhere to individualised care plans, documenting observations accurately. Communicate effectively and empathetically with residents/clients, their families, and the wider healthcare team. Accurately maintain care records, reporting any changes in condition promptly. Provide companionship and engage in social activities to promote a positive environment. Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines, maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Potentially drive residents/clients to appointments or activities (if applicable and with appropriate checks).

Essential Skills & Experience:

Proven experience (minimum 6 months preferred) as a Healthcare Assistant, Care Assistant, or Support Worker within a care home, nursing home, or home care setting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. A genuine passion for providing person-centred care with empathy and respect. Ability to work flexibly across a range of shifts, typically between 6 to 12 hours (specific shift patterns will be discussed).
Requirements (Must have):

Enhanced DBS on Update Service

Right To Work in the UK

COS or British Passport

Mandatory Training Certificates:

Desirable (Beneficial):

NVQ Level 2 or above in Health and Social Care.
