Dovecote View is currently recruiting for a Care Assistant for our family orientated, family owned residential care home in Chichester. At Dovecote View, it is our ethos to provide care to our residents of a standard we would expect for our own loved ones, particularly for those living with dementia.

As a Care Assistant at Dovecote View, you will be responsible for providing frontline care to residents, and reporting on any changes in their health or well-being to the person in charge.

Duties to include (but not limited to):-

Assisting residents with personal care needs Assisting residents with nutrition and hydration needs Assisting residents with continence management Assisting residents with taking part in social activities Record-keeping, such as completing care plans and fluid charts

Candidates will benefit from a good hourly rate of pay, workplace pension and pro-rata annual leave. Hours worked will include some morning and afternoon shifts, and alternating weekends, and we are able to offer a contract of either 24, 36 or 42 hours per week on a permanent basis. Experience is desirable, although is not essential as full training will be given for the role.
