Job Summary


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to individuals in a home care setting, ensuring their clients comfort, safety, and well-being. This role requires effective communication skills, a good understanding of care plans, and the ability to drive to various locations as needed.

Responsibilities



Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Support individuals in maintaining their personal hygiene and dignity. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure high-quality care. Follow care plans meticulously to meet the specific needs of each individual. Drive to clients' homes. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to the appropriate personnel. Participate in training sessions and staff meetings to enhance skills and knowledge in care practices. Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and safety within the care environment.

Requirements



Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills in English are necessary for effective interaction with clients and team members. Basic IT skills for maintaining records and documentation are advantageous. A valid driving licence and use of a car is essential for this roles involving travel between locations. A genuine passion for providing compassionate care and support to individuals in need. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when required.

You must be able to work every other weekend.

Pay: 12.50-18.00 per hour
