Job Summary

Looking for flexible work in Colchester that fits around your current commitments? We're recruiting experienced Care Assistants to join our team, supporting individuals with physical disabilities and learning disabilities in their own homes.

Responsibilities

Providing personal care, moving & handling, and medication support Supporting clients with physical and learning disabilities Promoting comfort, dignity and independence Managing clinical routines (PEG, catheter care, suctioning etc. where required) Engage residents in social activities and encourage participation to enhance their quality of life. Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the living environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Drive clients to appointments or activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport.

Requirements

Previous experience is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Basic IT skills for maintaining records and documentation. A valid driving licence. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being able to work independently when required. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. Flexibility in working hours, including weekends if needed.
