Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. Duties

Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation. Support individuals in following their care plans to promote their health and well-being. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a warm and friendly environment. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to senior staff. Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the living environment by adhering to hygiene standards. Drive residents to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their safe transportation. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care tailored to each individual's needs.

Requirements

Previous experience in a home care setting is desirable but not essential. Strong communication skills in English are necessary for effective interaction with residents and team members. Basic IT skills are required for maintaining records and accessing care plans. A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting residents when needed. A compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care is essential. Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings if required.
