Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in our care home , ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. You will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities and implementing care plans tailored to each individual's needs. Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality care are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support individuals with mobility and physical activities as required. Help with meal preparation and ensure clients receive proper nutrition. Maintain accurate records of care plans and daily activities. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding any changes in health or behaviour. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to care provision and IT systems used for record-keeping. Foster a supportive environment that encourages independence and dignity for all clients.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential. Strong English language skills for effective communication with clients and team members. Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
