About the Role

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate

Care Assistants

to join our team, working within various reputable care homes. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, person-centered care, supporting residents with their daily needs, and promoting their independence and well-being. Key Responsibilities

Assist residents

with all aspects of personal care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility, always maintaining their dignity and privacy.

Support residents

with their nutritional needs, assisting with meal times and feeding as required.

Administer medication

as per care plans and training, accurately documenting all actions.

Engage residents

in social activities, conversations, and outings to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.

Monitor and report

any changes in residents' health, mood, or behavior to senior staff promptly and accurately.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date

care records and documentation.

Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment

for residents, strictly adhering to health and safety regulations.

Communicate effectively

with residents, their families, and colleagues to ensure a holistic approach to care.

Adhere to all care home policies and procedures

, including safeguarding and data protection.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience

working as a Care Assistant in a care home or similar healthcare setting is highly desirable. A

genuine passion

for caring for others and a compassionate, empathetic approach.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

. Ability to

work effectively as part of a team

and independently.

Reliable, punctual, and adaptable

to changing needs. A clear

understanding of dignity, respect, and confidentiality

in care.

Right to work in the UK.

A valid enhanced DBS check is essential.

(We can assist successful candidates with obtaining one if required). Relevant care qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care) are a significant advantage.

Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
