We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in January 2026. This role involves providing high-quality support to people living at our care home. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Duties
Assisting residents with daily activities such as personal care, mobility, and medication management
Supporting residents to maintain their independence and dignity
Implementing individualised care plans tailored to each person's needs
Providing companionship and emotional support to residents
Maintaining accurate records of care provided using IT systems
Communicating effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
Qualifications
Experience working in a care home or care at home
Good IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes
Fluency in English, with excellent verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with residents and colleagues
Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support people
Ability to follow instructions accurately and adhere to health and safety guidelines
