Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to residents in out newly renovated care home, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role is vital in helping clients maintain their independence while receiving the necessary assistance with daily activities.

Duties

Assist clients with personal care, contenance care and daily living activities. Support clients with mobility and movement, ensuring their safety at all times. Help with meal preparation and feeding as required, adhering to dietary needs and preferences. Maintain accurate records and ensuring documentation is up to date. Communicate effectively with clients and their families, providing emotional support and companionship. Conduct light housekeeping duties as necessary to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.

Skills

Experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with residents and team members. Proficient IT skills for maintaining records and documentation electronically. A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 48 per week
