Overview

We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team at our newly registered care home. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a brand-new service from the very beginning. You will play a key role in helping us create a warm, safe, and person-centred environment where residents feel valued, supported, and at home.

Responsibilities

Assisting residents or clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, nutritional needs and mobility Providing companionship and emotional support to promote mental wellbeing Maintaining accurate records of care provided Ensuring a safe and clean environment in accordance with health and safety guidelines Communicating effectively with team members, residents, and their families to ensure personalised care delivery Supporting individuals with activities that promote independence and social engagement Uphold safeguarding, confidentiality, and health & safety standards.

Skills

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong organisational skills to follow care plans accurately and efficiently Good IT skills for updating records and managing documentation Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and respect towards residents or clients Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for those new to the sector Ability to work as part of a team while also being capable of working independently when required Willingness to complete training, including NVQ/QCF qualifications in Health & Social Care. Pay: 12.45 per hour
