We are seeking a part time day care assistant (12-24 hours PW). Our shift patterns are 0730-1330 (Morning shift), 1330-1930 (Afternoon shift) or 1600-2200 (Twilight shift) We are also seeking a part time night care assistant (12-24 hours PW). Our shift pattern is 1930-0730.

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality support to individuals living at Farriess Court, assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and wellbeing. Duties

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times Help with meal preparation and feeding, respecting individual dietary requirements Implement and follow personalised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals Provide companionship and emotional support to clients Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and team members to ensure consistent care delivery Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the client's environment in accordance with health and safety regulations

Qualifications

Previous experience working in a care home or community care setting is essential Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals
