Job Description

We are looking for a carer to join at our Nursing and Residential care home with LD & Autism Support unit situated in TS5 6SD. The home has friendly team which provides premium care for the residents.

The position is to support residents with challenging behaviour/mental health/advanced dementia (nursing) Ideally to have trained in restraint however training would be provided Would be required to provide one to one support with residents who have complexed needs
Applicant shall:

Be reliable, dependable and committed to make a difference in our care home
At least a relevant S/NVQ level 2 or equivalent qualification in health care and relevant work experience- Previous experience in a Care Home setting is preferable .
Have responsibility for front line supervision and monitoring of care workers and care assistants.
Respond to emergencies and provide guidance and support to care workers
Be friendly and Patient Orientated.
Have excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.

Successful candidate will be required to provide with a valid, enhanced Disclosure certificate. Please note that we will acknowledge a transferable DBS certificate (Enhanced) and may allow for an immediate start.
