Alt-Na-Craig House is a care home based in Greenock PA16 7XT, with superb views of the Clyde. We are a superior care home which exudes elegance, style, and modern comfort. We first opened in 1999, and ever since, this remarkable award-winning care home has offered exemplary standards of Nursing, Residential, Dementia and Respite care.
We are currently recruiting for new Care Assistants to join our dedicated team working on day shifts.
Key Responsibilities and duties:
To provide a high standard of care and support to residents ensuring all personal and individual needs are met for their personal care with washing, toileting, dressing and undressing, as well as all other aspects of daily living;
Respecting the Residents' dignity and privacy at all times;
Maintain thorough and up to date records on each Resident;
To work within the homes policies and scope of practice;
To support, motivate and co-operate with all work colleagues;
To ensure at all times priority is given to the needs and safety of all residents and visitors within the home.
Key requirements:
Registration with relevant professional bodies;
To attend approved mandatory training days and online courses in order to update knowledge and skills as required;
To maintain confidentiality at all times;
SVQ qualifications.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From 12.60 per hour
