Role Overview

Training and ongoing support will be provided throughout your career. As a care assistant you will:

o

Deliver hands-on, person-centred care and assist with personal care tasks

o

Safely lift, transfer, reposition, and move clients

o

Support residents to enjoy a high quality of life and encourage participation in social and recreational activities

o

Exemplify our Philosophy of Care and act in line with the Social Care Council's Code of Conduct

o

Promote the home's reputation at all times

o

Observe, monitor, and record residents' physical and emotional well-being, reporting changes promptly

o

Carry out all duties safely, respecting the health, safety, and welfare of yourself, colleagues, residents, and visitors

Ideal Candidate

You'll bring:

o

A friendly, empathetic approach that puts residents at ease

o

Experience delivering care in a residential or nursing setting

o

Solid knowledge of basic healthcare and hygiene standards

o

Teamworking skills, self-motivation, and confidence

o

A genuine passion for improving the lives of elderly individuals
