Orchard House Care Home is a family-owned care home located in Scarborough, North Yorkshire that specialises in day care, respite care, and long-term care. We opened in 2007 as a specialist in day care provision in response to an unmet need in the local area.

As the day care hub flourished and we got to know our visitors' families and carers, one thing became abundantly clear: there was a lack of good quality respite care available locally, and the people we were supporting, and their families needed more than just a few hours' respite per week. Subsequently in 2019, we proudly opened our six-bed residential home, which is integral to our day care service. Now at Orchard House, we can truly support people through a care journey that meets their needs for respite care and long-term care.

At Orchard House, we pride ourselves on our person-centred approach to care.

We are registered with the Care Quality Commission as a residential care home for younger adults, people aged over 65, and for dementia care.

Days- 1 x 18 hours per week Contract

12.35 per hour

Shifts-

Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10am-4pm

The Role

Are you kind, friendly, outgoing, are you confident in your ability to encourage and engage with people?

You'll provide direct support to individuals with a variety or support needs including learning disabilities, which may include personal care. Will include preparation of food, safe handling and administration of medication and the safety and security of the home and individuals we support.
