Overview

We are currently seeking dedicated Care Assistants at Regency House Residential Home to join or compassionate care team in providing essential support to our residents. Positions are available for day shifts, including weekends. No prior experience necessary, but a passion for caring for others is a must.

Responsibilities:

- Work collaboratively with the care team to deliver high-quality care to elderly residents, particularly those with Dementia-related conditions.
- Follow instructions from Lead Carers and Managers while also demonstrating initiative in providing personalized care.
- Maintain accurate records using electronic systems on-site.
- Assist residents with daily activities such as grooming, bathing, and medication reminders.
- Support residents in maintaining their independence and dignity.
- Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents.

Qualifications:

- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Familiarity with IT systems for recording information accurately.
- Willingness to work in a Care Home setting and provide home care services.
- Ability to follow care plans and adapt to changing needs.
