Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality support to individuals in care homes and within their own homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living tasks such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility Support individuals in accordance with personalised care plans to meet their specific needs Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting their independence and dignity Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition Assist with medication management as directed by healthcare professionals Support clients with meal preparation and feeding if required Ensure a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery Drive clients to appointments or outings when necessary, ensuring safe transportation

Qualifications

Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided Valid driving licence and ability to drive is preferred for roles involving client transportation Good understanding of care plans and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately Proficiency in English, with excellent communication skills for engaging with clients and team members Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
