Job Role
Provides support and encouragement to Residents whom are living with Dementia and other health related conditions in all areas / activities of daily living.
Ensures the respect, dignity and rights to privacy of residents as far as possible.
Contributes to the assessment of Residents needs and the development of individualised plans of care and support in consultation with Residents, their relatives and the Care Team.
Acts as an associate worker for an identified Resident, or designated group.
Works with the care and support team to deliver high standards of service to achieve planned goals.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Minimum NVQ level 2 in Care or equivalent care qualification or willing to work towards. Experience in a care / support or service related setting preferred.
